Honestly, I love all newborn poses. But there's one I love most of all, and that's what I'm going to show you today.
In the industry, it's called Chin on Hands, or Head on Hands, or Forward-Facing, or — to those of us who love it most —just The Pose. I'll try for it at least once in every session that includes blanket poses, and I'm always so happy when baby allows it. Of course, if baby's at all uncomfortable, I'll switch to another pose. But if baby's deep asleep and I'm sure they're not uncomfy in any way, I'm going to try to add The Pose to your gallery! I love how it highlights baby's sweet little face, especially their cheeks, and how every baby does The Pose slightly differently.
Here are a few examples of why it's adorable, so you'll see why it's so hard fior me to resist attempting it at every newborn session.
