Which colors work best for newborn sessions? ALL OF THEM!

Seriously, all of them!

There are three popular colors for newborn photography: pink for girls, blue for boys, and neutrals for both. But there really aren't any hard rules for which colors you can or can't use for newborn photos! Why can't we use blue for baby girls, or gold for baby boys? Who says dark colors won't work, or that bright colors are a no-no? Here are a few examples of recent newborn sessions using the entire rainbow of colors. Missing is light brown, a soft lavender, and a nice fall orange. So excuse me while I go find a few new colors to add to the studio closet!
